My MGBs May Be Famous!

Phil Toy, a professional car photographer, came up today from Walnut Creek in his '57 Cadillac, and took photos of my two MGBs to be used in an upcoming article on MGBs in Collectible Automobile magazine. We were able to use my friend/neighbor Dick Anderson's yard as a setting. The last photo is Phil in front of his '57 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham. New Carbs For My '67

I bought these on Craigslist from a fellow up in the Reno NV area. He had purchased them in the past, and has left the MG hobby. My car always ran so-so, but I can't really blame the car as much as me, as I have not done any tuning in the year I owned it, other than reducing the idle speed. The new carbs would not choke, so had to put in a new choke cable, and that was really an ordeal. If I was ten years older or unable to bend around there is no way I would have gotten the old cable...
