“Coyote”
Purchased 26 November 1983 in Henderson, KY, from Joseph Hancock. Paid $150.00 for this MGA and a $50.00 for a second MGA derelict. Salvaged anything useful from the derelict & left it in Henderson to be salvaged.
Towed "Coyote" back to Topeka, KS, and started restoration; however, lack of funds and time resulted in "Coyote" setting in my barn until 2016 when I dug it out and started restoration. Fortunately, I 'pickled' the engine before storing it. When I dug it out in 2016, I removed the spark plugs, connected it to a 12V battery, & engaged the starter. The engine turned freely.
