Looks great. Since I still use a mechanical fuel pump, do you suppose a simple hose from the intake manifold fitting to the valve cover will suffice? Also, did you use pipe-threads into the intake, or can I use a standard tap & die set?

you will need a PCV valve in the hose as near to the manifold as you can get itI used standard tap

Andy -- I'm not quite sure what setup you ended up with."I am now trying it with no Gizmo, hose to catch can and hose with PCV valve from catch can to manifold and will report back.I did away with the catch can and went back to the first set up"Which was the "first set up"?Was it " ... a port in the manifold,i built a device(Gizmo) ,... a port in the fuel pump blanking plate,... a hose from the blanking plate to the air filter., ...a PCV valve from Auto Zone.; and the Gizmo attaches to the aluminium valve cover and the PCV valve is between Gizmo and manifold port."??How is it running now? Thanks!

It's actually not elaborate at all, assuming you have an electric fuel pump and don't use the mechanical outlet. The Gizmo looks pointless to me though. The other thing I'm not 100% sold on is this actual PCV valve since they usually have to be sized to an application. I do like the idea of having a valve there though and I'll try this one. Well done.

question: why did you not run the crankcase hose through an oil catch-can before routing it up to the DGV's air filter's intake elbow?alternatively, why not run both the crankcase venting hose and the hose from the valve cover through an oil catch-cans and then into the DGV manifoldthanks for your thoughts!
