After buffing for a while the whole shop seemed covered with spots of compound. I decided I did not want to get the paint looking great before putting things back in the car. So I began installing major components. Engine/trans, peddle box, and heater. This is a '76 with a '71 motor/trans mated to an early rear diff. I suspect the PO had shelves of parts and cherry picked to put a whole car together. Anyway, the motor had a ZS carb and since that carb was not correct for the motor, I decided to put a weber 32/26 dgv on it. Cause that is what I had. So I rebuilt the carb, sent the exhaust manifold off for coating and bought a TT exhaust. Put all of that in and am now sorting out the electrics so I can crank this thing!
