Went for a start up for the first time and, 2 seconds later it burst into life, ran well and smooth so did the cam break in, immediately noticed a couple of issue.
1. Fuel leak around the swirl tank (found it was leaking at the top of the tank, the gasket which was cork was just oozing fuel so took it apart and replaced with a rubber gasket and bingo fixed, no leak)
2. Radiator fan did not kick on via the ECU (bypassed to a manual switch for now.)
3. Check engine light on all the time, (will have to check wiring diagram again)
4. Small coolant leak (easy fix - tighten clamps)
5. Sounds like driver side header or exhaust connection is leaking
Went for a run and all was going well when it suddenly just shut down. Blew a fuse but when I replaced it still no go so going to have to do some trouble shooting. Things to check:
1. Is the Alternator charging correctly
2. Double check the radiator fan circuit as that is what blew as it was connected to the wrong fuse, so when it blew it shut the ECU down.
3. Source a better way to control the cooling fan
4. Re-check all connections and clean up wring.
5. Anything else I can think off
6. Test drive....test drive......test drive
