Anyone want to see the mounts I built for a similar rotisserie but for a early B PM me. Allowed for welding/working on front and rear valance etc.

But Royce's worm drive and jacks beat my setup.

Cheers,

Don

That is an interesting body jig - did you make it yourself?

Hi Doug,
yes i did make it myself, I had some stuff laying around but still had to buy a
bit more steel to get things the way I wanted it. And casters. I can take
some pictures of it for you if you like. It worked reasonably well, i could have
spent a bit more time balancing the load of the car but once the
suspensions were off it actually wasn't too hard to rotate.

Dear Royce,
That is an impressive jig.
It must have made the restoration a lot easier.
I would be interested to see some more photographs of it.
Kindest regards,
Douglas

Good to see you could do all of the suspension etc. on the rotisserie -- was just going to do the wiring, plumbing and install front cross member and empty rear-end. I've now rethought that.

Doing the engine bay and dash should be much easier when you can work with everything on it's side or upside down from a seated position rather then lying on your back.

Awesome!!

Don

I've got Red's twin sitting in my garage on a very similar rig. I must admit I do like the worm gear you've setup. I'll have to modify mine before the next restoration.
