It's not a 2 1/8 inch hole and the gauge surround is a little larger than the normal ones.
I just cut a 2 inch hole in my already finished dash at the top center of the right dash panel, there is a 2 and 1/4 inch hole there, so someone planned ahead on that one. It did tear a little at the very edge, but routing a countersink took care of my heart attack.
The new hole required a bit of filing to get the gauge in but then noticed the overhang of the gauge was going to take more than the 1/8 inch cut out. The answer was to cut a 2 1/8 inch hole from the back down to a 1/8 inch away from the top to give the router a smooth surface to ride on but still be tight around the gauge. After the router trim was done, a nice fit and painted black, we have what I hope will be a good looking addition.
All the wiring is done and it will be a plug and play tomorrow.
I found a chrome surround that fit, so made it match all the other gauges and I'm much happier with the result.
The flash still shows them as black, so will get a better picture later.
First off noticed I need the GT6 seat back controls. The TR6 ones are a bit long. Getting the lock in at the back was really a pain. I like to get them where the seat is not going to move, saves a huge rattle when no one is in the seat.
Pretty standard stuff getting them in, just cutting the hole in the carpet where the 5/16 inch nut pushes in, lets the 1/4 inch bolt right through and keeps the runner off the carpet, making it a little easier to adjust it. Note I said a little easier. Make sure to get the seat straight on the runner before snugging it down. I marked the hole in the carpet with a awl then pulled it up and did a magic marker around it. Put it back down and a punch in the hole and went to the next one. When finished with all four and the nut in the carpet, did not have to fight carpet bits in the threads.

Wife tried it out and said I should leave the other seat out, better shopping cart and for us to keep our distance.
Took a bunch of time finding to matching recliner latches that matched and in good shape.
Should get the other one tomorrow, getting closer.

Getting a little tired of pulling this sucker on and off. LOL
As you can see from the pictures, lots of trimming. Didn't get to tightening it all to the seat frames, will get a bunch of hog rings tomorrow and add some heat.
One more seat to go and will have to add some vinyl on the side where some frame is showing, just me.

Got the $19.97 one at Wal Mart, pretty much just filling a hole with something that will play some FM stations and it has a phone hook up.
The speakers were put in the footwell little shelf area.
I had to cut a large 2 by 7 hole in the cover plate, but it was in bad shape, so no lost there. Covered in vinyl it looks OK.
Hooked up the memory line to the battery at the solenoid and both the power and memory have fuses in line. These things are only a couple of inches wide, really weird for someone who has been doing this for 60 years.
Oh, it sounds great but what do I know, but it was clear when I turned it up
Easy to set up and a good thing, I take the cables off when parked in the garage.
Picked up a few station 40 miles away with no antenna up and in a garage, so, should be able to get the local FM with beach music all the time.

Also got the speakers in yesterday, not much, but I won't be able to hear them anyway, but needed to fill a hole and the radio does have a phone Blue Tooth, what ever that is, wife finally gave me a phone and said keep it in the golf bag. Yeah, like I could hear that. LOL
These were marine ones and fit in the little nook in the foot well. Only 4 inch wide and long.
