Finally, I could see nothing else to do today but to start hacking away at the drivers side sill. Found out that there were 2 layers of repairs to the floor pans as well as the remnants of the original to remove. I have the car on the rotisserie which made cutting the floor pans out pretty easy, but I think that when it comes down to getting the whole inner sill out I will have the car resting on a trestle under the crossmember.

I had a look at my Moss order (complete sill replacement kits for both sides)and unfortunately neither side had the inner sill piece included. I've sent an email but have yet to hear from them.
